Terms of Service
Agreement
By using Wakeport (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.
The Service
Wakeport helps you connect user-owned services (starting with Gmail), define filters, and emit wake events to destinations you configure. Features may be dogfood, beta, or generally available; we may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.
Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for destinations you configure.
- You must only connect accounts you are authorized to use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate law, privacy, or third-party terms (including Google APIs Terms of Service and User Data Policy).
- Abuse APIs, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service to spam, harass, or process data you do not have rights to process.
- Bypass rate limits, security controls, or Google’s restricted-scope requirements.
Your content and provider data
You retain rights to your content. You grant us a limited license to process connected-account data solely to provide the Service. Provider content is untrusted; treat wakes accordingly before taking automated actions.
Third-party services
Google and other providers have their own terms. Wakeport is not affiliated with Google except as an independent API client. Outages or policy changes at third parties may affect the Service.
Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or exactly-once delivery of wakes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or business, arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Termination
You may stop using the Service and disconnect integrations at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or risk to the Service or others.
Changes
We may update these Terms; the effective date will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
